Oasis Sexual Violence Program is looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals in working with sexual trauma survivors. As a small non-profit program, we rely on committed community members to help us fulfill our mission and vision.
Hotline Support – Our trained advocates provide crisis intervention, support, information and resources to callers.
Hospital Advocacy – Hospital advocates provide support and advocacy to survivors during medical forensic exams – evenings, nights and weekends.
Community Outreach – Volunteers provide outreach to the community by tabling at health fairs and connection with others agencies.
Getting started as a new OSV volunteer is a step-by-step process to ensure that each volunteer is properly oriented and trained. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and pass a criminal background check.
